I was born and raised in a Christian home, but it wasn’t until the night of October 29, 2022, that I was truly born again. That night, Jesus met me in a very personal way and set me free from comparison, unforgiveness, and bitterness. I haven’t been the same since.
For many years, my sense of worth was shaped by what others thought of me and whether or not I felt accepted or liked. I carried hurts that affected the way I saw myself, God, and others. Eventually, I reached a place where I was ready to walk away from my faith. But just when I was ready to give up, Jesus brought someone into my life who could see through the walls I had built. He helped me recognize the brokenness and wounds I had been carrying and gently guided me through the process of bringing those hurts to God, learning to forgive, and seeking forgiveness from those I had hurt.
As I surrendered those things to the Lord, I experienced a freedom and lightness I had never known before. Through knowing Jesus, trusting Him, and learning to love Him, He began teaching me to see myself and others as people made in His image.
That journey is a big part of why I became a biblical counselor. I wanted others to experience the same hope and freedom I had found in Christ.
I believe the way we experience life is deeply shaped by what we believe to be true. What we believe about God, ourselves, and others influences the way we think, feel, communicate, make decisions, and build relationships. When those beliefs are rooted in God's truth, they lead us toward freedom, peace, wisdom, and maturity. When they are rooted in fear, shame, or lies, they can leave us feeling anxious, discouraged, stuck, or disconnected.
My desire is to create a space where women feel safe to be honest about what they are experiencing without fear of judgment, to ask honest questions, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and look to Scripture for what is true.
I especially love walking alongside women who are navigating anxiety, grief, questions of identity, forgiveness, or unhealthy relationship patterns. Whether you are walking through a difficult season or simply desire to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ, counseling can be a place to receive support, gain clarity, and grow.
I don't come to counseling as someone who has everything figured out. I come as someone who has experienced the transforming grace of Jesus and wants to walk alongside others as they pursue Him. My hope is that our time together helps you become deeply rooted in God's truth, confident in your identity in Christ, and equipped to love God and others well.
